THE RIDING REALTOR For those who may not know Steve you’ll probably remember Can Am motorcycles. Well Steve was the Canadian Can Am race manager from 79/87 and a pretty slow expert rider himself-LOL. Steve moved to Haliburton County in 1982, largely because of the Cord and the amazing snowmobile trails, and is the guy behind the infamous Rockcliffe 100 enduro 87-92, the Cord’s South Lake trail massacre of 86 (he still claims it was the record rainfall and a mad beaver who did it) and the Miserable Lake trail – which is still taking points away from riders after 20 years of use.. Oh… and I almost forgot, he’s also the CEO, founder and senior test pilot of Tekrider, the Kinmount-based manufacturer of the Tekvest. Steve’s also a long-serving reserve army officer who recently returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Can’t think of any realtor who knows the trails better than Steve? So, if you’re looking for a cottage or some vacant property in “Cord Country” give him a call!
